International Management Assistants is a global, professional network of management support professionals, represented in over 30 countries.
Our main aims are the personal and professional development of our members and the continued evolution of the management support profession.
The IMA was founded in 1974 as European Association for Professional Secretaries and in 1999 the members renamed it EUMA - European Management Assistants. In 2016, considering the huge changes to our profession and to prepare for the future, we became the IMA - International Management Assistants.
IMA South African was established in 2018, and joins over 30 other countries where IMA is represented.
